Senior Care of Brevard

Meet Our Staff

Today, we are living in an ever changing world and in order for us to survive especially in the times we are living in are to reshape, re-organize, and prioritize our efforts in meeting the needs of our community. Senior Care of Brevard has become that composite of change. We have reshaped, re-organized and prioritized.

To meet the demands that Alzheimer’s disease has put on society, it has to be a community effort and that involves team work. Each Adult Day Care center that is strategically located here in Brevard County has unique qualities. I feel Senior Care of Brevard’s distinguishing feature is that we give compassionate care. In fact, our motto is, “Everyone has absolute value”. We are here to improve the quality of our client’s life. We are not just a center, but a “home away from home” for these precious souls. We have a dedicated team willing and able twenty four hours a day to step in and serve when others cannot. We are a healing center for the entire family.

As the administrator, I pledge that our client’s and their families will experience an atmosphere of warmth from us and to feel that we do care about them. We will reach out our hand of support to families in their time of need. We will further our effort by communicating on a broader range with our community partners and local businesses. This community should know where we are, how we are doing our jobs and what our goals and objectives are. Change isn’t easy, but often necessary. My goal for 2010 is to see that we are champions in the quality of care given and to know that we made a dignified difference in our client’s life.

My Creed to you.

-- Linda Wagner RN  CEO / Administrator

I have had the privilege of serving Senior Care of Brevard since 2000. Along with the entire staff, I share a passion about responsibility and commitment towards you, the caregiver, and your loved ones. A very fulfilling aspect of my position is maintaining a working relationship with families once the enrollment process for a loved one has been completed. Within this context, I am able to offer guidance and emotional support for the client and the family, as well as assist in obtaining additional services that the client may need. It is my hope that you will allow me the opportunity to share our program with you and invite you to become part of our family!

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song” - Maya Angelou

"As the Activities Coordinator, my goal for the clients is to stimulate their minds and allow them to maintain their cognitive function and physical agility maintained as long as possible. We try and exercise their minds through arts, crafts, and games along with exercising their bodies through a daily modified physical activities program.

I feel that our activities bring out the creative side of them and allow them to express their personalities. Although our clients come from many walks of life, their talents shown here are treasured by each one of us."

-- Bobbie, Activities Director
