Linda also provides Alzheimer's training for the caregiver and has support groups available. Having been a caregiver herself, she knows the frustration a caregiver experiences. Hopefully with an understanding of the disease process and support groups, she can help the caregiver continue providing that much needed care for their loved one.
Our goal with this service is help the caregiver realize there are people available that care about them and we want to help provide the emotional and physical support that is needed.
This is just one of the reasons why Senior Care of Brevard has the Outreach Program specifically designed for the caregiver. SCOB wants caregivers to realize 'they are not alone'; we are here to help them cope with the difficulties associated with caring for those afflicted with Alzheimer's and dementia related diseases.
